This is it. THE APPLICATIONS PAGE. This is where you post your applications, either in the comments or with a link.

A few things to point out before you start your app:

Always check the reserve page first to make sure someone else hasn't reserved your chosen character first!
Players may app up to two characters at a time.
Reserved characters gets first look when it comes to apps. Otherwise its first come, first serve!
We are cool with applicants using info from previous applications! ~~Don't lie, we know you wrote the perfect app for another game. :p~~ This includes samples, provided they fulfill our sample requirements.
Remember, if you're applying for a Setting Native/SN, you'll want to look at the information presented here first!

As for the applications themselves, here's a quick breakdown of what we expect:

Player Name: What you'd like us to call you!
Player Journal: If you have one.
Age: Remember, the minimum age to play here is 13!
Contact: AIM, MSN, Plurk, e-mail, or anything other method of contact.
Characters Played: If you play any other characters in My Little Jamjar, tell us here!
Name: Your character's name.
Canon: Their canon. If they're an original character, just type "original".
OU/AU/OC: Are they OU, AU, or an OC? Or are they SN?
Canon Point: When are they taken from in their universe?
History: For OU characters, this is no problem - a wiki link will suffice! For AU characters, we'd like a minimum of 3 paragraphs as to what is different in their universe. For OCs, we'd also like a minimum of 3 paragraphs. For SNs, we ask for MLJ history.
Personality: Minimum of 3 paragraphs!
Strengths: All abilities, magical, natural or otherwise, that the character may have!
Weaknesses: All weaknesses, magical, natural or otherwise, that the character may have!
Possessions: Any possessions of importance which could be brought into the world! (Maximum of 5)
Pony/Animal Type: Earth, Unicorn or Pegasus. If they are not a pony, just give us a sentence or two as to why.
Cutie Mark: Ponies only. Remember, your character's cutie mark should be something that easily sums up and symbolizes their abilities, personality, and destiny!
Pony Picture: This question is completely optional. We just know you all totally want to play with that addicting Pony Creator.
First Person: A general magic scroll post. Minimum of 100 words!
Third Person: A prose log. Minimum of 200 words!

♥ We'd like to hear a little more regarding Derpy headcanon. Given there's very little canon information about her, how would you fill in those gaps, so to speak, in her story?

Ah-ha, so I don't suffer from a mistake and headcanon the wrong one, you want headcanon history, headcanon personality or headcanon for both. Like I said, I don't want to accidentally go too far with this!

Ah - headcanon history!

History: Derpy was someone who was born to be special. In more ways than one. At an early age, her parents took notice of how awkward their googly-eyed child was, constantly getting into trouble in her attempts to do good. Things that would be easy and simple to a normal kid turned into a disaster area. Her parents were even horrified at the prospect of taking her to school - they were afraid the poor thing would turn around and ravage the building.

This... wasn't the case. Seemed like someone had stumbled onto the secret of how Derpy works - in reverse. Things get broken when she's told to fix them and vice versa. Of course, that didn't stop people from teasing the poor pony for her way of thinking. For awhile, Derpy was put down by it all, thinking that what she had was something of a curse. Of course, it took some encouragement from others to get her to ignore those teasing remarks, which translated into something much more: that she didn't care how destructive and odd she was, she enjoyed who she was, googly eyes and bubbly personality included. It was this revelation that allowed her to obtain the ever-so-vaunted Cutie Mark she bears on her flank - not that she's an airhead or an idiot, but that, like bubbles that get blown away, they go wherever they want to go and if they disappear, there's always more where they came from.

Soon after, Derpy would come to Ponyville and, for the longest time, had trouble holding down some sort of a job - nine times out of ten, the place she went to got destroyed accidentally. However, there was one job she did seem to find the perfect fit for: mail pony. Despite the destruction she caused, she always got the mail in on time and without any mistakes. The post office was willing to bear the costs of damages in exchange for such an amazing mail carrier. She also became part of the Winter Wrap-Up group when Rainbow Dash arrived and took over... and earned her nickname "Ditzy Doo" from Dash because of her skills (though, some say it might be less that and more that Rainbow Dash wasn't sure of her name with everything going on.)
