Name: Flash Sentry

History: Flash Sentry is a regular teenager in Canterlot High, one of the many faces of the school. For a while he dated Sunset Shimmer but due to the nature of her personality, he broke up with her shortly before the events of the movie which was approximately two weeks before Twilight showed up. From what the viewer can tell about Flash Sentry, he seems to be fairly well off, one of the popular guys from the musician crowd. Flash also seems to be very fairly well off, able to afford nice things and despite this doesn't seem to be one of the snobs of the elite crowd.
During the course of the movie, his first encounter with Twilight was when she crawled out of a swathe of students and she bumped into him. Giving her a helping hand up, he helped her out and get her footing before he started to go along his way. However, due to the numerous encounters with Twilight, he grew fond of her and her spark. Flash is often seen at the usual hangouts and in- and around class.
Another encounter had him run headlong, again literally, into Twilight at the Cake's shop during the after school hours as she spilled her drink over him. She and Flash had a good laugh as he went to clean up and his affection for her grew. Soon after that however the next day, he supported Twilight's bid to become Princess of the Fall Formal as he joined in with the group song that rallied the students together in a big musical number in the school cafeteria during lunch.
It was shortly after this that Flash discovered Snips and Snails had produced false photos of Twilight ruining the gym, and brought the evidence to Vice Principal Luna after Twilight had been framed for destroying the decorations in the gym. After he admitted that he wanted to help, he asked Twilight out to the school dance. But bewildered by her reaction, he was rejected, only to return and help out with setting up for the student dance later on.
At the end of the night, he managed to get the dance with Twilight after she and her friends faced off against the demonized Sunset Shimmer. And it was here that he found out she was a pony princess and he was okay with this, even if he wouldn't potentially see her ever again. It's here that everyone saw Twilight off, and back in Equestria, Twilight encounters the local Flash Sentry who reminded her of the guy she liked.
There's a series planned for Equestria Girls, and information will probably be added later to keep things rolling.
Personality: Dependable is the main draw of Flash Sentry. Loyal and able to adjust to many situations, Flash is one of Canterlot High's most notable faces in the crowd. He's often found helping people, and keeping an eye on the troublemakers. He is able to stand up to people who bullies others like Sunset Shimmer, and has seen the good in others since then. He seems to be well respected in Canterlot High and other people know that he's a decent hard-working guy at heart.
There's not too much known about Flash's personal life, only that he seems to be a bit older than Twilight in the AU, able to drive his own car which is a really sweet ride. He seems to be rich, but well trained in physical activities and is a good guitarist, often found with the musicians. Although Twilight and her friends brought the school together, it can probably be said that Flash Sentry will be a main character during the EG series start up projected to begin later this year or next. Flash seems to get along just fine with the other students, not worrying about the separation that riddled the school into cliques during the pre-Twilight week that changed his life so much.
He's very kind, and attracted to Twilight's strength and weaknesses. He seems to be the boyfriend equivalent to Shining Armor, if only for the fact that he is not related to the family. And yet, he probably has never forgotten Twilight who came from another world. He seems to be able to adjust to the weirdness that has become Canterlot High from the default of their normal school existence changing on itself.
He seems to be very reliable, as attributed to the series as he can be found doing good deeds for the sake of doing so. One of those every-man type of characters, he presents himself as both foil to the bully types, dependable boyfriend and so far not a ounce of malice in him either.
More information on Flash will be added later once the series begins.
Strengths: Strong, fast, athletic. The Pegasus version of Flash Sentry will probably be able to fly for long distances, having athletics under his hoof. Music as well would be key, even if he has trouble playing the electric guitar.
Weaknesses: More awkward movement than Pinkie Pie, less training in the formal fighting styles of Ponies, and is less capable as a pony than he is a human even with training. However he makes up for it with sheer spirit and effort behind his actions.
Possessions: Guitar, jacket and clothing.

First Person: So there's a lot of bright colors here, even compared to back home. I can deal with not having hands although hooves are kind of weird when you're trying to play the guitar. But I doubt giving up now is in the cards especially since I wouldn't be much of a Canterlot Wondercolt if I wasn't.
I've settled in for the most part, and I'd like to get to know people all over. Also uh I hear there's two Twilight Sparkles here? That's kind of awesome since I'm sure I'll get to meet them. And there's so many ponies here I can put faces to now back home. In short I suppose I should meet everyone and try to get to know everyone as much as possible. Oh by the way, I'm Flash Sentry. And if you know my face-twin up in the Crystal Kingdom then I assure you we're not quite the same person. But as it stands, uh I guess some things about me.
I'm eighteen, and I, well I did drive a Sentry which is a black car with a customized paint job. I play in a band, and I come from the same world as the younger Pinkie Pie came from. I was born human and I guess there's really not much else about me besides being a generally nice guy. So uh yeah, if I can get a place that'd be really great. If anything you can find me at the hotel. And if someone can tell me where I can exchange my money it'd be helpful too.
Third Person: It was weird being human once and learning you were in the same position as a lot of other ponies. And yet Flash was looking forward to this. Hearing about Equestria and whatever else entailed was amazing. And Pinkie Pie was here too, so that meant he had someone to relate to.
More than that, this was potentially the world Twilight came from. Thinking about her brought a light blush to his cheeks as he wandered around town. "I wonder if she'll bump into me... but the chance of that happening is slim..."
He then barked a laugh, shaking his head. "Oh c'mon Flash, she'll totally run into me. It was practically a running gag."
Sighing with a chuckle, he thought about the Princess Celestia who asked him not to reveal the events of his world. She must have her reasons, and Principal Celestia always had reasons for doing what she did.
All right, time to get going. There's a lot to do and less time to do it in. With that, Flash Sentry strode into town, glad that he hadn't been given the armor his double wore.
